A popular traditional finishing oil for use on cutting boards and wooden spoons, walnut oil polymerises slowly but completely over four to five days forming a hard, clear, flavourless and odourless finish. Once polymerised walnut oil will not become rancid.Also excellent as a moisturiser for dry hands or as a base for making your own paints and varnishes, walnut oil is preferred by oil painters for its high clarity and slow drying time.
The oil is cosmetic grade, safe for ingestion through the skin.
