Workshop Heaven 3M™ Film Top Up Pack (Basic)
Contains:
2 sheets each of: 40 micron, 30 micron and 9 micron, pressure sensitive adhesive backed, aluminium oxide microfinishing film. A heavier duty version of standard lapping film with a thicker backing and a stronger resin coating
2 sheets of: 3 micron lapping film. The 3 micron grade has a 'P' resin coating making it slightly more durable than the other superfine grades. 3 microns is roughly equivalent to an 8000 grit Japanese waterstone
Sheet Size 8½" x 11" (216mm x 279mm).
Each sheet can be cut into four 2½" (69mm) wide strips.

“at first imight feel a bit pricy. But the results is by far faster and superior to tradional stones , or to rmek system. and we don't have to change the film often so each pack can last quite long. well worth it.”

“An integral part of the way we teach tool preparation and sharpening here at Waters and Acland furniture School. The scary sharp system stays flat. This abrasive is of the finest quality. It all works as it is supposed too. We flatten the backs of all plane blades and chisels with this system.”

“Over years I have tried the lot, at great expense. This 'system' is very good indeed - low cost, very effective, always FLAT, clean to use... With the sample pack, a few bits of glass and a plant spray I am very happy indeed. Ten pounds for the sample pack - worth trying surely?”
