These beautiful marking knives from Ashley Iles are hand forged from carbon steel, so they take a sensational edge.
There is a slight curvature to the blade, rather like a surgeons scalpel, so the knife will always cut smoothly throughout the incision, whatever your choice of grip.
The non slip rubberised handle feels comfortable and positive in the hand, and the thin section gives it a very precise feel. As you would expect from Ashley Iles the quality is excellent, you may even see a mark on the blade left by the hardness testing machine.
