The Mujingfang Compass Plane is a compact, convex soled plane with an 18mm wide blade. The longitudinal (front to back) curvature of the sole makes it suitable for use on internal radii of 6" (152mm) and shallower. The body is handmade from a solid block of ebony with a fine grained high speed steel cutting iron secured by a solid brass lever cap.
