Whilst a sliding bevel is useful for transferring angles it is sometimes necessary to convert them to or from a numerical value. The Kinex/K-MET 251613 is a proper engineers' protractor, precision ground from thick stainless steel sheet and large enough to position accurately to half a degree.
The protractor head is 3mm thick and the arm is 4mm thick, compatible with Kinex 3mm thick steel engineers' draughting squares.
