Approximate measurements:

O1 carbon steel hardened to RC59-61.
25 degree primary bevel.

“First of all I must say Bravo to your customer service exerlent, I am a time served joiner since finishing my apprenticeship in 1976 having acheived City & Gilds & advance certificate. all the tools I brought during my apprenticeship I still have and fit my hand like a glove. I was so desperate to get a the proper plane iron for My Stanly No 9 1/2 ialways at the top of the tool chest, I'd been looking for some time to obtain a good replacement as soon as I came across Ray lIes Edge Tools, right away that's what a needed, the correct size with quality steel, the ordering process was faultless the package arrived by Royal Mail, same day i sharpen it and fitted in the block plane ready for use, I will certainly recommend Ray Iles, once again Bravo.”
