“As always the service is fantastic as expected. Product arrived promptly and in excellant condition, well wrapped. Sharpness: Out of the box I believe the blades needed sharpening and so far I have only sharpened one. Once sharp the blades are great. Too early to comment on edge retention, but my impression is they will be very good. Fit for the Record 44 is perfect. Thank you for the product and service.

“Postage to Cape Town was excellent. The cutters fit perfectly and after sharpening each cutters on an oil stone, a 4000 grit honing stone and a strop on leather, the cutters were sharp enough to slice through a soft carlton tissue. A well tuned plough plane is a joy to use.”
