Supplied complete with cap iron screw to accommodate blades up to 3mm thick.When trying to improve the performance of bench planes, the chipbreaker is usually the best place to start. “I have used a couple of these (along with the QS blades) to replace the worn out ones on my Stanley Bailey 4 and 5. They are great quality, one cap iron took some work to get a flush fit to the blade but at this price it was no major flaw. The improvement in cut / reduction in chatter is noticeable.”
