This is a great shoulder plane. Sole is flat and square to the sides. Takes only minutes to hone the blade to scary sharp. Great plane, great price. I love mine

I make furniture at home as a hobby. I tend to use hardwood (Oak, Beech, Ash). This is my first Quangsheng plane and by far the best in my small collection. It is reassuringly heavy, easy to set, use, and sharpen. It is well finished and balances nicely in the hand.

Although this may not be as pretty as the premium planes out there, it certainly does it's job extremely well. It's comfortable to hold and has a weight to it, which feels just right. Apart from a few minor burrs around some of the edges, the finish is flawless. Performance far outweighs the cost!
