The instructor teaching the class, Cameron was great but it would help him if he slowed down the class.

Dear "to-whom-it-may-concern"! The link in the feedback request letter I received is not working. But I want to share my very positive feedback on the Work at Heights training session Mr. Randell (I apologize if mistyped his name - the man with the service dog) delivered this Tuesday, April 16th. If I was asked to describe what is an ideal training session for me, I would simply recall Randell's one. Let me list the key highlights below. 1. Absolutely to the point, to the objective of the training content of the handbook and the presentation slides. 2. Slides design and content are structured, bullet-pointed,rich with real-life pictures. 3. Facilitator: a) "one-couldn't-imagine-better" for the training personal background and experience. You feel like being coached by a retired Marvel's hero. Expert in safety, heights, death threads and escapes. b) slides opened not one by one in numeric sequence, but only as a background of what Mr.Randell chooses to talk, driven by the logic of his speech. This builds ultimate trust to his knowledge of the subject. c) real life examples turn the duties, rules to follow into the natural need, desire to take good care of yourself and others' safety b) very balanced, diversity respectful jokes, linked to the plot of the training topics, are keeping participants with him, always alert and... not sleepy at all! Which for us, hardworking hand-workers is really a problem at any boring sessions like many trainings are. Hence, you are, in Work Safety Toronto, very lucky to have Randell (apologize for most probably wrong writing of his name) as a part of your team. Take good care of him, expand the subjects he is coaching: I would sign up definitely if the are/will be more trainings, delivered by this facilitator. The one thing I would wish for him to improve is his handwriting)))) I tried to remember his name written on the flipchart , but you see the result. It is difficult to memorize wording when you fail to read it correctly!))) Good luck to all of you and fix the feedback link in your training follow up mail!)
