Blue Diamond’s Wooden Windbreak Poles are 145cm wood (pine) spiked poles, with a durable metal cap to protect the pole when hammering into the ground and a metal spike cover for the bottom of the pole to prevent damage to the pole. These are traditional windbreak poles and are designed especially to function as spare poles for the Blue Diamond windbreak range, however, they are also suitable for alternative windbreaks with similar dimensions. The poles have a 20mm diameter and are sold completely as a single pole. This is for a pack of 5 poles. Purchased for spares for 2 x windbreaks that I had recently purchased. Work well but could do with being a tad longer.

These are good poles but make sure you check them carefully on arrival was I had 2 out of 7 that were split so would have broken on use. World of camping sent replacements though so no problem

The windbreak poles that we bought looked really good however were not great. After one time use, the spikes on the bottom came off when the pole was extracted from the ground leaving the spike in the hole

Because we’re on a seasonal pitch, we don’t take our windbreak down over the 9 month period so they have to withstand high winds and all the weather thrown at them. These seem better than the last 4 we ordered which were bent and split. We’ll see how these stand up.
