“This is my first mod, though I've vaped on my brother-in-law's slew of devices in the past. I read a lot of reviews prior to buying. SMOK seems to get a pretty bad rap in the forums, but I went with this because of size and price. Not having enough experience to comment on flavor and cloud productions, etc., I'd say the Priv V8 has a noticeable flaw: it's not as pocket-friendly as it might seem because the patented swinging top on the tank is prone to open. I literally had a Lava Flow in my pocket last week!”
“Worked great for the 11 months I could use it. Dropped it a couple times and it kept working alright until I tried to change the coil and the tank just wouldn't screw back together all the way. I had hoped it would last more than a year, so for that I am disappointed.”

This mod though.. it's Achilles heal to me is the battery door. It didn't hold up and neither did the switch. In their defense, I have dropped it lightly several times.
I'm debating buying this one again. Price was right. My last smok mod, the procolor also had switch problems, and battery cover issues.”
“Very easy to use device, works pretty well. I loved it initially but now I'm not sure if I use too much and need something different for higher performance or what but I received this on news years eve and have been through 12 coils it's now Feb 1. Also my battery cover keeps popping open. Otherwise I really like it's size and simplicity.”
