Vapor condensate is like water; it will get into every nook and cranny. Condensate collects where the pod inserts into the battery. There exists the potential for liquid to seep out the cartridge air holes into the battery section, too. So, periodically dry the outside of the pod and inside of the battery. This should be routine maintenance done on all these pod devices.”
