“In an ocean of terrible-to-mediocre pod systems, the Caliburn is a clear winner. The draw is full and tight, giving great flavor for such modest amounts of vapor. The throat hit is quite strong, especially when using 45-50 mg salt nic. The pods don't flood or leak unless you fill them, then leave them sitting for a few weeks. All in all, this one is a no-brainer.”
“I originally started with a Juul.
Due to the high cost of pod refills, I almost, switched back to cigarettes.
I started with refilling the Juul pods.
I then tried the Novo which had numerous issues with battery life.
Although it was nice ...it had major issues with juice leakage.
I then tried the Nord.
It was Huge, used coils instead, and still had leakage.
I then switched to the Caliburn....
I've only had it for 1 day, but I love it, so far.
No leakage.
Clean taste.
Very similar to the Juul ...only twice the size.
Battery has been going strong ....all day.
Couldn't recommend it enough.
Electric Tobacconist has the best price anywhere and now that I learned that Juul pods use a composition of 70% I'm ordering some juice with a few more pod refills.
The 50/50 is great for smoke cloud but I don't find it as satisfying.”
“A great device. The pods last practically forever. Outputs lots of vapor. Battery is a little light, but it keeps the device light. All in all the best we got right now.”
“I recently switched from a Juul to the caliburn and couldn’t be happier. The number one aspect is obviously the ability to refill the pods yourself which makes your money stretch much farther than replacing pods (every two days in my case). The unit itself is sturdy and I haven’t had any issues besides the button sticking on occasion. That’s likely because I keep it in my pocket and I’m sure it gets dirty and some lint in it. Sometimes I get some juice when I draw in but that’s also because I have a tendency to overfill the pods. I’ve been going about 3 weeks strong and my pod seems to be fine but I intend to replace it soon. The battery life on it is definitely better than the Juul but if you are a hard valet then it will absolutely need a charge by mid to late in the day. I usually charge mine before work, hit it quite a lot on my three breaks and the light is just turning blue when I get home from my full time job. The hit from the caliburn gives you a nice throat feel unless you end up accidentally dry hitting it. If you are a Juul user and particularly an ex/current smoker, I do recommend this product to simulate a close act of smoking. It’s kind of like a 50/50 column of both worlds (combustion/vaping). Overall I think it’s a great step up from Juul if you don’t cater to the whole mod scene.”
