“Absolutely love this device battery life lasts at least 2 days for me the one bad thing about this device is if your using a thicker juice the coils take awhile to rewick”
“I’ve been using my Mercury Resin for about a week now, and I really, really like the device alot, but the short life span of the Mercury coils is the doom of this pod system. Luckily the 5 pack of coils is relatively inexpensive because they only last 1 to 2 days before they start tasting burnt, regardless of which Nic Salts I use. I never let the pod get below 1/2 full to make sure the coil is always saturated, and even that doesn’t help extend the coil life. I even make sure I use the lowest watt setting and still the coils burn out quickly and that’s with 25-30mg nicotine salts. The pod hits smooth, has nice flavor and vapor production, and has a good adjustable airflow set up, but none of this matters when the coil life is so short you’re going through 1 to 1 1/2 packs of coils a week. Of the Orion Q, Trinity Alpha, and Mercury Resin, the Mercury is the best device, but the terrible coil life ruins it. The Trinity uses Nord coils which are good but has no airflow adjustment, and the Orion Q has terrible pod life and you don’t have the option to just replace the coil so it’s expensive to have to replace the whole pod every 2-3 days. I really had high hopes for the Mercury after seeing YouTube reviews on it, but my hopes turned to aggravation after the coils proved to be lousy. The 1.0 mesh coils are the best for flavor and the 1.2 standard coils mute the flavor terribly but do last just a fraction longer than the mesh. I wish I had just bought another Uwell Caliburn. It’s the best pod device for Nic Salts & has a phenomenally long life span of the pods, plus the greatest flavor production out of the many, many pod mods I have bought. The Mercury Resin build design is extremely well made and looks beautiful, but that doesn’t make the coils last any longer and the poor coil quality is what destroys this device, unless you like replacing coils every day or so and throwing away money on worthless coils you know won’t last. I’m just disgusted with the poor experience I’ve had with these little square pod systems whose designers care more about the attractiveness of the device than they do about the actual quality of it when the buyer uses it. Maybe we’re not supposed to actually use it, but just sit it on a shelf and look at it. I wish I had sought more reviews from actual users before I wasted $30 on this device. I waited until I had used the Mercury for a while so I could give an honest review rather than a hasty review based on first impressions so other buyers could make an informed decision on whether or not they should buy the Mercury Resin. I hope this review helps prevent others from wasting their money. If Mercury comes out with good quality coils that don’t burn in a day, then this will be an excellent pod system. Until then, buyer beware.”
