“I have a Smok Novo 2, Orion Q, and Aspire Pockex, but the Breeze NXT is my favorite of the bunch. I love the adjustable airflow. It works well for both loose MTL and restricted DTL. Flavor is great, clouds are great even at 50/50, and the battery life can’t be beat. This is the best price I’ve found, and I’m tempted to order another as a backup. So far I haven’t experienced any leaking. I’ve also dropped it a couple of times with no damage. If you’re on the fence, buy it!”
“Great device so far, not a single dry hit yet. Coil only lasted 9 days before tasting bad but might be my fault for chain smoking and trying different flavors. My only con would be that it doesn't have a spot for a lanyard or strap.”
“This is a huge upgrade from the first generation breeze being able to put 5.4 g in a pod and still being ultra lite and portable is something I love!”
“Major improvements over the Breeze 2. The well documented tank retention clip failure of the Breeze 2 was an unacceptable design flaw. My second Breeze 2 suffered clip breakage within 2 weeks. The NXT uses simple friction to hold the tank, plus you don't need to remove it very often due to the side filling port. The air flow adjustment wheel on the side allows you to adjust on the fly while drawing. With the Breeze 2 you had to remove the mouthpiece to adjust airflow, not ideal. So far I like the new coils; better flavor and longer life over the Breeze 2 coils. If you're thinking about buying the 2 instead of the NXT to save some bucks, don't.”
“So far I absolutely love the Breeze NXT. So much easier to fill than the breeze 2. I haven't had any issues with leaking. Even though it's the same size battery as the breeze 2 it lasts longer than the 2 did when new. The bigger tank size is wonderful. I searched for quite a while to find the best price on this device and this was the best price I could find. Super quick shipping as well. I ordered on a Friday and had it on Monday!”
“It is a complicated matter to review the Breeze NXT. I have tried all the Aspire Breeze offerings, the original Breeze, the Breeze 2, and the Breeze NXT. For me, the original Breeze is clearly the best of the three.
I vape only high quality, tobacco profile, NET e-liquids: Black Note and Drakes (of England) almost exclusively, both of which offer superior e-liquids in only a 50VG/50PG composition. Both the Breeze 2 and Breeze NXT do not handle these very high quality e-liquids well at all and do not deliver the pleasant flavor profile delivered by the original Breeze with a 0.60 ohm atomizer. In fact, after just a dozen or so draws on a fresh atomizer, both the 2 and the NXT deliver an unpleasant, harsh, and somewhat bitter flavor profile no matter the air flow setting. I tried the 1.0 ohm atomizer with the Breeze 2 to no avail: the harshness and bitterness diminished a bit, but the flavor character of whatever NET e-liquid I used simply disappeared. (My original Breeze also does not perform well with a 1.0 ohm atomizer in that the flavor profile and throat hit are both diminished. I would encourage Aspire to offer a Breeze 0.80 ohm atomizer as I would certainly give it a try in hopes to find an ever sweeter spot.)
I purchased the NXT, hoping that Aspire had improved the Breeze 2 edition and thinking that maybe the 0.80 ohm atomizer it offered would be the key. It isn't in my humble opinion.
I hear that salt nicotine e-liquids may be ideal for all of Aspire's Breeze editions. I do not particularly enjoy salt nicotine although my original Breeze with a 0.60 ohm atomizer handles them fairly well. I find the purveyors of salts (even those advertised as tobacco profiles) typically over power their e-liquids with all sorts of sweet or syrupy additions which are not my preference as a NET purist.
All that said, the original Breeze, in spite of its few drawbacks (battery life, its somewhat cumbersome and messy atomizer replacement routine), is one of the best, most economical, compact vape devices out there. If Aspire could recreate the Breeze 2 or NXT to deliver the same vape experience I get with the original Breeze, I'd be all in.”
“Absolutely love it. Saw some bad reviews but wanted a personal opinion instead and love it! Works great. Big fill pod and seems to hold a charge longer.”
