“The Dotmod AIO has been the best all around vape that I've ever owned. Including retiring my "authentic" Billet Box. The quality is great and Whitney with Dotmod's customer service has been delightful too. Both of it's coils are outstanding in flavor. Since I do use nic salts the 1.6 coil is great, but have seen other nic salt users use the .3 coil for those too. Would also to take the time to say... “I’m a long time vaper and this compact mod is great. I prefer the Mtl coils, but both function perfectly. As soon as the rta comes in I’ll finish out my set! The finish is immaculate, battery life is longer than I expected and recharge is much shorter than expected. All in all a quality product and worth the dough.”
“I want to like this thing. I really do. I paid almost $100 for it, after all. But I'm struggling to for a number of reasons beyond the price tag.
For one, the leaking. No matter what I do, no matter how many plastic rings, pods, and coils I swap in, this thing leaks like a faucet at the top. If I pull the mouthpiece out, I can easily see the condensation and liquid pooling on the top of the pod. Not only am I tired of drinking my vape fluid, but it's hardly cost effective to have at least 10% of each tank wasted. Posts about this in the facebook group have been denied by moderators.
And the flavor. Again despite changes of coils, tanks, mouth pieces, etc. I've never gotten a hit as tasty as one from a $30 Nord using the same liquid. Granted the coils seem to be lasting longer (and I love the anti-coil burn & automatic off) and the flavor isn't bad by any means, but the quality is lacking for such an expensive device.
If this was ~$40, I'd give it 4 stars. The build quality is nice, flavor is decent, it's easy to open and fill, and the features are a big plus. But ultimately I'm disappointed (and perhaps a bit salty given the money I sunk) in the overall product given the options at this price point.”
