“bought for my conservatory which now has an insulated roof so with reasonable temperatures so far has only been used lightly however it does blast out hot air to give a boost and will no doubt be great in the winter to come and of course can be moved round the house as required”

“Bought this week for winter coming as heater. Live alone and wanted to use heat for myself function when come in from work on cold days in Scotland. There is a serious cold side cold draught on both direct and fanned out heat function. This is what happens from my cheaper fan heater! I am somewhat disappointed with this product from such an innovative company. Is there a fault with mine perhaps Dyson?? Only had it two days but will have to return it.”

“We decided to spend the extra money and buy, what we thought, was a quality product. Luckily it was faulty, the oscillation only worked in one direction, therefore we were able to return it as faulty. I say luckily because the noise at level one was dreadful so high pitched that when turned off it left us with tinitus. It also did not heat our small living room and seemed just to move around cold air. Heat emitted in just a small area. Really over priced. I would not recommend it as a heater.”

“Sorry to disagree with all the previous reviews but this cooler/heater is next to useless. The cooling does not really work at all - it's more of air movement, creating a draught - but not "cooling". The heater is OK - it does work but only as effectively as much cheaper heaters. I like Dyson but this really is style over substance”

“Although this comes with a high price tag it is worth the money. I wanted a portable fan/heater to be able to use both upstairs as well as downstairs. Light and portable. It can be placed on the floor or as I did in the very recent hot weather place it safely on a small table. Remote control a real bonus. I haven't used the heater as yet but I am sure it will be just what is needed for our use. Looks good and unobtrusive when not in use.”
