“The kit comes in a box, wheel needs a tyre and a tube. I purchased an inline brake kit compatible with my bike, a torque arm and a battery separately. Installation took about 3h, but more than 1h was spent removing the brake cables from the bike to fit the inline sensors. I needed another hour to check the spokes, fit the tyre and balance the wheel. The rest was a matter of plugging cables and use cable tyres to secure them (they're much longer that needed for my bike, but I can understand that). It'd be useful if there were some pictures of "finished" bikes in the website to see where is the best place to run the cables, secure them with ties, etc. I had to improvise a bit.
After one week using my converted bike, it's all good. The controller needed some tweaks and I had to find its manual online on my own, since the link provided was for another model. Nothing that google cannot fix. Other than that, a very smooth installation and a very good product.”

Were also very helpful in dealing with my requests for technical assistance when I couldn't get the controller working. Sent me a replacement controller and LCD panel immediately, which arrived next day and was all installed and working again within minutes. “kit is well though out. I use it as a pedal -electric only.
Performance is excellent.
Should supplied with washer to fit 100mm forks.
Spokes on front wheel worked loose so had to get LBS to sort it.”

“bad finish on the spoke holes there was sharp edges which gave me a puncture and the a lot of the spokes were really lose which i took to a shop to get them tightened but over all a great kit”
