“These are much easier to place where you want them with no can needed. No cutting sheet rock before installation. Lights are quite bright and flood room exceptionally well. Used 4” as well in hallway.”
“One real advantage of these lights is that layout is totally flexible. At 1/2” thick, you can place them anywhere on the ceiling, even in the middle of a joist. Can’t beat them for new construction. Just leave enough loose wire in the joist bay and cut in after drywall with a 6” hole saw. Takes maybe 5 minutes to cut the hole and wire with the quick connects.”
