“These are not plug-in lights but if you need a directly-wired light under counter, they are good ones. They use a connector that allows you to push in the household wires. The knock-out that they expect you to use is in the center of the fixture. If you are replacing an older fixture whose knock-out was on the end of the fixture, you also can find knock-outs on either end of this new fixture (the directions don't allude to them). If you need to use one of the end knock-outs, the problem is that the interior wiring on the fixture may not be long enough to reach all the way to the end of the fixture - so you may have to splice in a short piece of interior wiring, then use wire nuts to connect to the house wiring.”
