“The bulb is a perfect fit for the QC-24 base of my lamp, and serves the purpose to convert to LED lighting. I'd tried a low cost unit a year ago, which was not compatible with flourescent ballast but I didn't understand at the time, that bulb nearly ruined the fixture and so I returned it. This Sylvania replacement is certified to be ballast compatible and indeed it worked immediately upon installation. The brightness exceeds the old flourescent and my wife likes the instant brightness rather than waiting for the bulb to warm up.”
