“I am redoing a pole barn and will be purchasing 20 or so of these fixtures ultimately. I ordered a sample of both the ProLighting brand and the American made TechBrite brand. I was grossly disappointed in the TechBrite offering:
1) it was over 25% more expensive than the Chinese-made PROLighting house brand ~ $11/fixture.
2) Quality was substantially lower than the less-expensive Chinese model — the PROLighting house brand had smooth edges that fit tightly and had a more sturdy fit and finish
3) The PROLighting Chinese-made product came with a a slick set of mounting brackets that facilitated a quick and professional looking installations. The TechBrite model, just included some predrilled holes in the back of the fixture that directly screwed to the mounting stud.
4)The TechBrite (the more expensive product compared to the PROLighting house brand) fixture came with no cover, the PROLighting brand came with a nice diffuser that tightly snapped onto the base.
Finally, both PROLighting and TechBrite lamps generated significant RFI and will require additional common mode chokes to reduce noise to an acceptable level.”
