“The tool that is provided to open the wire way comes shipped inside the wire way. That seems to defeat the purpose of having that tool. Had to remove the screws on the end to get it out. This came shipped with rubber bands on each end. Use the rubber band to hold the tool on the outside when you ship.”
“Thought this would be a clean install and look great. They do, when nothing is plugged in. Problem is that plugs are now sticking out at an angle (not straight down against the backsplash) and interfere with whatever appliance the plug belongs to. Take the toaster for example, plug sticks out over the toaster so you have to pull it out to use. Also gets in the way of the coffee grinder and coffee maker and air fryer. Hate this so much I am willing to shell out a bunch more money to remove and replace with outlets that face straight down. Second problem is with the outlet safety covers/locks. Many plugs require you to fight to get the plug into the outlet. Once the whole panel came loose and the outlet terminals shorted on the metal housing. Just a horrible idea and design.”
