“I installed 4 of these strips of several lengths in a residential kitchen. They are solid aluminum cases and good quality construction. The paint is quality without orange peel or defects. Tamper resistant plugs are solid and meet code. The inspectors wanted to see the UL listing and TR plugs because of the non-compliant junk available from big web retailers. These are not cheap but USA made.
I gave 4 stars because the design didn't fully consider the installers dilemma working with multiple trades over months of decisions.
My cabinets have a recessed bottom meaning there is a 1" wood border below each unit. Unless you look under the cabinets, you don't see it. The power feed is in this 1" gap and these strips mount below. These power strips only have knockouts in the back of the strips at each end. I needed a top knockout so had to drill into each unit to feed power from the top. If you can use the rear KO feed, you would have to planned that with your electrician and cabinet/tile installer to be 100% sure the power feed lined up with the KO port. Adding a top KO option would be easy but they didn't so 4 stars. Otherwise they look good and work great.”
