“I've used this on several long rides (100-200+kms) ridden at a fairly high av speed (28+kph)* and have found that it's really excellent in the recovery phase. Although I've had a few aches after the rides where I've used this, they are considerably less than what I've experienced without it. And my muscle recovery time has been massively reduced, I'd guesstimate by at least 50%. As for helping during the ride, I can't comment as I've not had any noticeable benefit, but cyclists who ride intense rides more regularly may do so.
