“This program has a lot of great step-by-step information and is fairly comprehensive at considering metrics and dashboarding from a multitude of angles. The only caution is that you should be reasonably proficient with Excel as a baseline, and it is best if you have, or are willing to devote significant time (days) to gaining a foundational understanding of the various tools and techniques in either PowerBI or Tableau. As someone who is "just ok" with Excel and had effectively no exposure to BI or Tableau prior to taking this course, it was a STEEP learning curve and it will take me several weeks of contiuing practice to become functionally capable. Still, the training, resources, and information gained from this course have assuredly accelerated my learning curve from either months (to never) to weeks, which is a win. I can now create basic dashboards, but anything beyond standard wheelhouse stuff is going to require lots more time and practice, just like anything.”
