I was hesitant to purchase the circle cutter, because I have purchased some things before that were cheap and broke quickly. When my circle cutter arrived (within just a few days), I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy and well made it was, especially for the price. I cut the template and have perfectly cut over 400 - 4 inch holes in cardstock in 5 seconds each without any problems. The blade is still sharp as new. I would highly recommend this product and company for anyone who needs to cut perfect circles! They definitely exceeded my expectations! I would have died trying to cut these with scissors.

I considered buying this circle cutter to save money if I decided to create different sized buttons in the future, which it does fine. If you cut buttons out ahead of time, it's great, but if you just want to cut buttons out quickly as you're making them such as at conventions, I'd recommend one of the the single-size hole punch types for convenience instead.

I am still dialing this in but so far I am very pleased. My son has been helping me with button making and he really enjoys the cutting part!

I've had button machines for 30 years. I am used to dealing with a cutter for every different size button, this all in one cutter is great.

I got into high speed rotary tool carving and using burl wood slabs to create one-off projects, (all gifted or donated to charities). Circle cutting was my only nemesis re: elements used in the creations. I went "cheap" and purchased compass styled cutters which put pinholes into the desired items for circle cutting, AND, would/could not hold down the material, making cutouts both difficult and "irregular". My new adjustable circle cutter worked immediately with virtually no learning curve while achieving the very BEST results! Well worth the investment; none better! L.A.W. Queensbury, NY

I had my previous and heavily used paper cutter for 10 years. Never had to switch out the blade or had any problems with it. Unfortunately I lost it in the depths of my storage unit/truck and is yet to be discovered. In the meantime I was surprised to learn that a replacement cutter would cost me $112 dollars with shipping. Was it worth it? I shopped around for awhile and itŠ—Ès by far the best machinery for my needs. It arrived a few days ago and has since been pumping out the buttons! Super stoked with it, and when I find my old one IŠ—Èll have TWO really great pieces of machinery.

Before cutting the template I tried just cutting a circle from copy paper. The cutter worked well. After cutting the template--which took a lot of pressure and turning, the cutter is dull and several passes still leaves parts which are not cut completely through.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. The Adjustable Circle Cutter can have a small learning curve so we provide videos to help you make the most of your cutter. You can find them in the video library under the Learning Center tab on our site. The main thing to remember is to apply even, steady pressure for the full rotation of the circle. If not, you can end up with sections that do not cut cleanly. With a little practice, you will see that the Adjustable Circle Cutter actually provides great flexibility in allowing you to cut fabric or paper as well as multiple sizes. You can also reach out to our Customer Solutions Team for assistance. They will be happy to walk you through getting set up and learning to use the cutter to make perfect buttons!
