“As a previous reviewer mentioned, we had to use the adjustable cutter to cut the template to the size we needed (2.25). It was difficult to cut through and now we cannot get a consistent cut at all. Even after many turns and rotating the paper, still can't get a clean cut. This would be okay if you only need to do a couple of buttons at a time but you are much better off choosing the punch cutter if you are getting a kit. Now I have to spend much more than planned (between the individual price of the punch cutter and the shipping). You'll save more money if you choose the punch cutter from the start!!”

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. The Adjustable Circle Cutter can have a small learning curve so we provide videos to help you make the most of your cutter. You can find them in the video library under the Learning Center tab on our site. The main thing to remember is to apply even, steady pressure for the full rotation of the circle. If not, you can end up with sections that do not cut cleanly. With a little practice, you will see that the Adjustable Circle Cutter actually provides great flexibility in allowing you to cut fabric or paper as well as multiple sizes. You can also reach out to our Customer Solutions Team for assistance. They will be happy to walk you through getting set up and learning to use the cutter to make perfect buttons!

“I have the adjustable circle cutter and the 2.25Š—� button machine. I use it to make promotional buttons for my corgiŠ—Ès Instagram account. I can cut up to 4 circles at a time. I use presentation quality inkjet paper (slightly thicker than normal paper) to print my buttons and they are eagerly sought after at the SoCal Corgi Beach Day gatherings. I try to make a new design every 4 months. Everyone loves corgis AND buttons. Thanks ABM for making many people happy.”

“It has pre set notches that definitely fit ABM button makers. You can also have completely custom sizes in between the main ABM sizes. Cutting templates is fat more time consuming than the instruction manual stares. So there's one downside, but you need to do that once per template so it's not a big deal in my eyes.”

“I bought this because I liked the idea of being able to cut multiple sizes (which I now realize I couldn't care less about), and to save money since it was cheaper than the punch cutter. Boy do I regret it. Cutting the template, first off, was a HUGE pain and took me WAY longer than the instructions said it would. Not only that, but I think doing so dulled the blade because I have NEVER been able to get consistent cutting with this cutter. more than half the time, parts of the circle are not cut all the way through. And to top this off, using it for extended periods of time gives me sore wrists, thumbs, and hands in general. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but honestly I would NOT recommend this cutter. Spend the extra money and get a punch cutter.”
