Thank you for providing your feedback concerning the cost of our program. It is a feature rich and robust program dedicated to the art of button making that allows users of all skill levels to be able to create professional quality buttons with ease. There has been years of research and development in bringing this product to market and it requires constant support and maintenance to help it remain the best product available. Unfortunately, all of that time and effort also carries a significant investment on the part of ABM. We try to keep the cost at a reasonable level and offer opportunities to earn free time with the program with the purchase of our button making kits and even more when you order your pinback button supplies from us.

“Love the program but is super overpriced. It also has a lot of copyrighted images that may not be obvious to others so I worry about not only me getting a C and D but other people making buttons or ABM itself. TLDR Love it too pricy.”

Build-a-Button is an exclusive program offered by ABM and has been developed by researching all of the features most requested by users that would provide the best product experience for them with a minimal learning curve. Between that research, development, support, maintenance and continual enhancements of the program there is a significant investment in making the software available for all of those who benefit from it in their button making. We offer multiple opportunities for free memberships, including offering it for free with every pinback supply order. With regard to image availability, all images provided on the Build-a-Button platform are provided through a subscription feed from Pixabay. As stated in our terms, "All images contained in the Build-a-Button Design Center are provided via a subscribed feed from Pixabay, a third party source. American Button Machines makes no claims as to the merchantability of these images or any rights or limitations of potentially copyrighted material provided by such third party feed. Any questions or concerns regarding licensing, use or copyright of said images should be directed to Pixabay and/or its licensing divisions."
