“Had the beginnings of an infestation in my wooden shed/coop. Luckily I noticed that my rooster was growing a colony in his cat carrier in my house before it got too bad.
I have completed 1st treatment which is 4 days at the beginning of the month and then 2 days at the end. They seemed to disappear straight away, but I was concerned they would come back after the first treatment (seemed too easy). Happy to report that I was unable to find any when I cleaned out the boxes today. I also used avian insect liquidator on the roosts, but I did not spray it on the chooks or poison the coop. Amazing!”
“This product is a life saver. With all the wet weather my hens have been spending more time roaming then in their coop, consequently they developed mites (probably from the wild birds that grace our area). We currently have a wide range of ages in our flock from newly hatched to old girls that don’t lay anymore. Treating with Alphamites I didn’t have to worry about the babies getting poisoned from harsh chemicals. All babies and older birds got through the 1st treatment. It was as easy as adding a little into their water everyday. No fighting the older birds and spraying/dusting them. Will be using this again.”
