“P2/N95 masks offer the best protection against COVID-19 aerosol. Compared to other brands I can breath easily for extended times and the mask does not become wet and inefficient. They fit well and are easy to carry. Compared to single P2 masks at my local pharmacy they are reasonably priced (Box of 50, around $2.50 ea.). I am amazed how many people are wearing ill-fitting surgical masks that don't protect well against aerosol-borne virus.”
“I've been looking for extra protection as normal surgical masks only provide around 50% - 60% protection, and while they serve their purpose during low transmission times they're not good enough for when we have outbreaks of the Covid virus. I've done a lot of research on masks and know that P2 or N95 masks can provide up to 95% protection from breathing in the virus. I used to have a P2 mask but I could barely breathe through it. Therefore it was refreshing to find the Aussie Pharma masks, which provide high protection, breathability, plus comfort.
I'm over 50 years old and I made the decision (after extensive research) NOT to have the AztraZeneca (AZ) vaccine as it's low in efficacy plus it has potential deadly side effects. As a result, I have decided to wait for the next generation vaccines, which not only will provide higher efficacy but will also cope with new variants as they occur. In the meantime, I feel more secure wearing the P2 mask because not only does it provide higher protection than the AZ vaccine, which the government deems fit for the over-50s, but at least I can feel secure and safer with the P2, and I don't have to worry about deadly blood clots!”
“I honestly don't know why more people aren't wearing these masks. Since the pandemic started, I've tried just about every mask available (including washable fabric) and this is the only one that seals well around my face, doesn't fog my glasses, allows me to speak (without touching my lips), doesn't move once it's in place and I can wear it for hours at a time. And the best feature; it's Australian Made.”
“Side bands would be tight for me after about 20-30 minutes. Though it is labelled “Standard” Size, it is the only size that is sold. Unfortunately, if your ear lobes are in the way, it becomes irritable. I was told that maybe my skull was on the large side. I was told to be persistent, maybe it was an odd batch. I gave it 2 weeks, wearing 1 daily. Still no good. As suggested by their rep., I gave them a call to give feedback. I had no response.
The original 5 Pack at Bunnings had a better elastic design, or, better elastic.
I am left disappointed. Will go back to Bunnings (Cheaper also!)
