The cut-off temperature seems to be about 85 degrees C, ok for tea or coffee, but a fair way off boiling.
The power cord and plug are undersized for the current they handle and get quite hot, the cable needs to be thicker wire so as not to be dangerous and the lighter plug needs to be fused and have a better construction to suit the 150 w it handles”
