“This newer model has a socket for USB which is convenient. My last one was fairly accurate (but sometimes up to . 02 off; I knew because I had a DMV calibrated one in my car after DUI.) This is still known as the most reliable sold. Good customer service after my last one stopped working.”
“After several months of using this, it's compact and precise. For the knobs out there giving this 1-3 stars, read the instructions. Ex. when you get up and use your Listerine and blow. It will be over .016. now take your poop and do it again, it will probably be .04 and by the time you leave the door it will be .000. And guess what? Thats what the company says in their instructions. I'm buying 8 for a bachelor party in 2 weeks.”
“Very easy to use app for quick and very accurate monitoring. The most important feature is the ability to show the time you would return to 0.00 BAC.”
“Product is great as advertised bluetooth does wear out the batteries faster than normal but device is accurate and I recommend it for anyone that wants to know their status of alcohol intake in seconds”
“I use this product while out. If I have a drink I am able to monitor my BAC. Which is very important before I decide to drive. The BACtrack is as described compared to official devices. Definitely the best purchase I made all year. Highly recommend this product, especially for those who want/need to monitor their BAC!”
“Having used the BACtrack for over a year, I have a pretty good internal feel for what's legal and what's safe in the cases where I'm driving home from an evening with friends. I am quite surprised with how tipsy I can feel and still be "legal" - so I aim for half the legal limit before driving. When you have been drinking, having a number in front of your nose is much better than relying on your judgment in that condition. These should be issued to every driver-training student before they get their license. Without it, you are "flying blind".”
