“A friend had a generic breathalyzer that we did a side by side test. IMHO the BackTrac C6 won hands down. The generic varied very little while the C6 increased proportional to the alcohol consumed. Not scientific but as good as I'm going to get without law enforcement getting involved.”
“I love to drink craft beer. With the different amounts of alcohol that can be found in them I found myself not able to tell if I had too much to drink to drive myself home even if I counted my drinks and calculated the time that would be safe to drive. I have been out several times and I believe it is helping me make good decisions about when I am not able to drive myself. I keep it in my purse. It is tiny and discrete....(although I love to show it to my friends.) I would purchase it again....I also think it would be a great gift for a 21st birthday. (I know a lot of friends when I was younger and even now that could have saved themselves a lot of trouble if they had objective data when they were making their decisions.) (It is easy for some people to say "Just take an Uber...." It would cost me over $40 one way to get home....so this has paid for itself in just one night out.)”
“Quick, easy to use, discreet and accurate. What else could you want? This has helped me manage the risk of drunk driving so much. It's not about escaping a ticket, it's about avoiding potential tragedy on the road. Using the BACtrack C6 has helped me to understand how alcohol affects me differently at different times and using this as a guide to know when to say when. Super helpful.”
“I like using this to make sure that I am at 0.00 before attempting anything that I do outside of sitting on the couch. At times it takes a few tries to make it link to the app via bluetooth, but there are two modes, one linking to the app and one where it can be read on the side panel so it works in various ways. I believe it is very accurate.”
“not to bad. the thing works pretty well. just does what it says to do. one thing you have to be careful of, you cant just drink alc and then check it a minute later. you have to wash your mouth out with water and wait a little bit if you want it to be accurate. other than that I have loved my BACtrack.”
