“I've owned this device for many years. I re-ordered the same device a month ago because I love how it gives the time to blow zeros. If you have a device in your vehicle that won't start until you are legal to drive, this is your life saver. I've told many people I know and they buy it. This company will calibrate them also but I just don't have time to send the older one in. They are awesome to work with. I must add that it did take a few extra days to get because I live out in the extreme rural areas and when postal carriers only want to work 5 days out of 7 it slows things down.”
“My expextations have been exceeded by this C8 BAC unit. First of all, it is a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. Based on it's size, I would not recommend the smaller one. It would just be too small in my opinion. It works great and connects to my iPhone with no problems. It came with 3 extra mouth pieces so keep that in mind before buying extras. I don't even use the mouth piece anymore since it is not needed for the unit to function. It uses 1 AAA battery.”
“I have had a BACTrack for about 4 years now. I am sure it doesn't give perfect readings, but gives a very good ideas of where you are at Blood/Alcohol wise. I recently left a party that I had 5 beers over a 4 hour period. I got back a reading of .04. I waited 20 more minutes to leave, and then got pulled over for speeding. I took the field tests and breathalyzer came back at .035. I feel comfortable using this device as a measure before I drive. The key is waiting 10 minutes or so after drinking any alcohol before you do the test. My friend has a friend that is a local policeman who recommended the BACTrack to him as one of the best.
