“I got this new model because my older one couldn't be calibrated anymore. So I got $40 off a new one. It looks the same as the Element I had, but it often gives me an error when I blow into it. I have to try several times. It just seems more finicky.”
“Great service and fast shopping but beware final cost if in Canada. Taxes on Canadian amount $10 plus $10 USPS handling fees. The extra $20 on an $80 purchase was a surprise. The should allow alternate shipping. USPS to Canada sucks.”
“I purchased a Bactrack a few years ago unaware of the fact that you have to have your unit calibrated every year ,whether used or not. When I went to use it, it didn't work and I didn't know why. I called customer service which told me to go to website and spend 24.99 plus shipping costs to send it back to them for calibration. I spent over $10 to send back. Seven days later I got email stated it was to old and couldn't be fixed and they would give me a 40 dollar credit to purchase a new one. The old one as never returned. I purchased a new one with credit which really wasn't credit because they kept my old unit. This took about 3 weeks in total. If only when I called your customer service someone would have advised me that it couldn't be fixed after 3 years. I had my receipt and they found the registered unit so they know when it was bought. This could have saved me a lot of time and energy. Otherwise the new unit works well.”
“The breathalyzers I purchased were good. I had a little trouble at first with a "error message". Then I decided to drink and wait for about 45 minutes then tried it again and it finally worked. Lol.
Advice...drink some alcohol so you can get a reading.”
“Think it's important to remember that you need to wait a period of time before using the breathalyzer after your last sip, otherwise it over reports your level.”
