“It's almost like this thing just puts out a random number. You could be completely sober at 2 pm and it could say your bac is a 0.14%. You could also be 5 drinks in and it could say 0.00%. Very disappointed.”
“I'm not convinced yet if it is accurate. Ive tested it about 4 times now and thinking it might be reading high most of the time. I would not recommend relying on it being accurate .”
“I question the accuracy of the readings. We have this product for less than a year and it is giving me a reading of 0.1 , even though I did not drink any alcohol for over a week. That is what I call a highly inaccurate reading. The manual states that it needs to be recalibrated by a professional. There is a fee associated with it. It is disappointing!”
“I was shopping at cvs when I came across this thing. At first I was skeptical and bought it just for a party trick. But now I use this every time I go out for drinks with family or friends before I drive.
I'm 4 ft 9in and 103 pounds. A few drinks will have me tipsy or drunk. So when I'm feeling even buzzed and don't know if I should drive or not I use this. If I'm .05 or above I skip the drive and take an uber.
I've tested it multiple times to see if it's accurate. When I have no drinks it consistently is .00 and with every drink I have it constantly gives me results that correspond that.
My only issue is every 2 weeks I have to replace the battery.
Overall really great product and I might upgrade in the future.”
“I did not have good results with this product. When following all instructions, my BAC would vary as much as .03 points between reads. For example, at one point it read .07% then a retest showed .1% then a retest showed .07% again. This high of a BAC should be impossible with how little I drank. It would also show a positive BAC when I had not drank any alcohol.
I ended up returning it and getting a C8 BACtrack which I am very happy with”
“It worked great when it worked! Battery life is terrible and after 6 months it broke. The warranty isn't worth sending sending back. I'm highly disappointed.”
