We have had several instances where employees have reported to their assigned shifts after consuming alcohol. “I love it, but the mapping function doesn't work any longer and i wish the BACTrack mobile had an LED display on it's side so you don't have to have your phone to get a BAC reading. Also, it would be nice if there was a visual indicator on the device or the app that tells you when recalibrating is necessary.”
“I have tested the device against reference standards and have found the measurement uncertainty to be small < 0.002. Bias is significant, but when present tends to slightly overestimate. After sending it in for recalibration, bias was diminished. The natural variability is small SD=< 0.001 at the 0.08 g210l level.”
