“I'm very disappointed in the draconian privacy policy. There is no reason you should want my geolocation info tied to BAC readings. How do I know that you won't report me to the police for drunk driving if I get in a taxi after a night at the bar. Your privacy policy specifically mentions this as something you may do. Please feel free to contact me about these concerns if you would like.”
“I purchased this breathalyzer less than a year ago and it worked at an acceptable level for a few months. Now it will read 0.00 one minute then 0.897 then .012 then .011 then back up to .756 four hours after having my last beer of which I only had three 12oz 4.5% ABV beers. I have a state issued breathalyzer in my car and it has failed me when the BAC Track device says I'm at 0.00. This has cost me over $1400 in fines and almost lost me my license for A YEAR. All because the technology they advertise as police grade is sub par. I recommend if you absolutely need to have accurate readings you buy one from a reputable Police Department Distributor.”
“It has given me confidence that I'm well below the 0.08 legal limit here in FL. and as a result I've summoned Uber a number of times when I'm "over 0.05" which is my personal max, as long as I'm feeling confident otherwise (not overly tired, etc.). I've taken long walks, if convienent, and retested, and if I'm within my personal limit, have made the desision to drive, or not, depending on my comfort level. I'm no longer guessing, and although 0.00 is the only completly safe level, I've eliminated the guessing I used to rely on,.”
“I purchased the mobile pro to make sure I was okay to drive after events where I had to entertain for work and would be consuming alcohol. It worked well for awhile and then it seemed like the readings were just not accurate. I paid to send it in to have it recalibrated this last spring and when I received it back, with the slip signed by the technician saying it had passed everything, it gave me readings that were off the charts. After one drink it would register that I was point 2,3, and sometimes 4. I believe I would be dead of alcohol poisoning if these readings were anywhere accurate. I kept it well maintained and kept trying it occasionally in different conditions thinking it might have been an initial glitch but now it is just a worthless piece of plastic that has cost me over $150. I would not recommend to anyone else that actually needs a reliable reading to save their life or driving status.”
“The only thing nice about it is how it looks otherwise it's absolutely unnecessary and it does not help identifying immediately who's drunk and who's not you actually have to have a cell phone to use this stupid thing what would improve it is if you could see your results on the stupid thing as well as your phone”
“I have a new high end Android phone but unfortunately this thing has a heck of a time connecting to the Bluetooth. I tried dozens of times and I only got it to connect about 3 times. I contacted support and they said they will eventually update the app to resolve the issue but could not provide an ETA. I ordered the Trace instead and will be returning this one. It's a bummer because I like everything else about this device including the ability to use it without a mouthpiece and I'm told the Trace requires a mouthpiece to function.”
