“Pairs with your phone quickly. Fantastic for making sure that you are drinking smartly. My favorite aspect is the "time" function which lets you know when you will be sober. It's amazing how long it actually takes to process alcohol. It's great to be able to better know your body and how it reacts to drinking under different circumstances. You can "guess your BAC level" so that you can use the device to better familiarize yourself with how you feel at different levels of BAC, keeping you informed and making better decisions. I've had friends use it at the bar and decide not to get that "one last drink" after seeing where their level was and while this hasn't happened yet, I can see it being useful to convince people not to drive when they feel okay, but are actually at a higher level of inebriation than they thought. I recommend this product to anyone who drinks and look forward to using it more.”
“So I bought my original Bactrack Pro around 2014. I used it heavily plus my friends used it many times as well. I suggest buying many mouthpieces as you might catch a cold or flu from them. Haha. I probably had over 450+ readings in those two years and the sensor eventually failed. I had it calibrated every 6 months but I just wore it out eventually.
Contacted customer support about my issue and they gave me a shipping label to send it and a free calibration and it failed. They offered to replace it for $60 which is awesome!! The new one works just as well as the old one did. I even compared it to the breathalyzer a couple police officers I know and it was around a .01 off from theirs at the most.
I've had a few breathalyzers in my life but this one will always be the best. It's accurate as long as you don't drop it and get it calibrated every 6-12 months.”

“There are NO NEGATIVES TO THIS PRODUCT. The device worked flawlessly from the start. I charged it up and use it at least three times a day. It has not needed a recharge but I charge it on ocasdion just for GP even though the charge level in the app shows full and has never shown less.
The device could not be easier to use. You just follow the apps directions. It's me, read fool proof. I have only used one mouthpiece. All I do is wash it and rinse it with the dishes. You can buy a supply if you are a germ phobe or allow others to use it but how would you sanitize the internals if you did allow others to use?
The APP: It's free no ads. Also awesome. Is written well. Shows results graphically numerous ways, some fun some serious. Tracks results in the propritary mode AND in the iOS health app. Tracks days weeks and months. Is totally customizable to you. As an added us it shows other BACtrack users throuhout U.S. The choice to share location and results is optional of course and there is no other info shared except location and results. It is very interesting to see other results and locations.
As a recovering alcoholic it helps with the motivation to stay sober. It does not prevent drinking but really adds to the will to stop. For drinkers who are not alcoholics it is great for gauging your sobriety after a a relaxing cocktail or a meal with any alcohol beverage. The App gauges your motor skills based on your alcohol consumption and puts it in plain English so there is no mistaking your anility to drive or pass a field sobriety test if you are stopped by Public Safety personnel.
