“Pairs with your phone quickly. Fantastic for making sure that you are drinking smartly. My favorite aspect is the "time" function which lets you know when you will be sober. It's amazing how long it actually takes to process alcohol. It's great to be able to better know your body and how it reacts to drinking under different circumstances. You can "guess your BAC level" so that you can use the device to better familiarize yourself with how you feel at different levels of BAC, keeping you informed and making better decisions. I've had friends use it at the bar and decide not to get that "one last drink" after seeing where their level was and while this hasn't happened yet, I can see it being useful to convince people not to drive when they feel okay, but are actually at a higher level of inebriation than they thought. I recommend this product to anyone who drinks and look forward to using it more.”
“So I bought my original Bactrack Pro around 2014. I used it heavily plus my friends used it many times as well. I suggest buying many mouthpieces as you might catch a cold or flu from them. Haha. I probably had over 450+ readings in those two years and the sensor eventually failed. I had it calibrated every 6 months but I just wore it out eventually.
Contacted customer support about my issue and they gave me a shipping label to send it and a free calibration and it failed. They offered to replace it for $60 which is awesome!! The new one works just as well as the old one did. I even compared it to the breathalyzer a couple police officers I know and it was around a .01 off from theirs at the most.
I've had a few breathalyzers in my life but this one will always be the best. It's accurate as long as you don't drop it and get it calibrated every 6-12 months.”
