“This is the best investment I've made to help keep me and others safe. I use it all the time and if I'm out drinking, I check my BAC throughout the night to not only understand how my body processes alcohol, but also to know if I need to slow down so I can drive later if need be.
I really worry about my upper teens and early 20s age kiddos. I'm buying all of them one of these for 2 reasons: 1. So they will know if they are too impaired to drive, and 2. They can check thei person giving them a ride if they are concerned.
And also, the thing is so fun to play with! Everyone wants to try it, from my experience! Now I also understand why you need to wait 15 minutes from drinking alcohol before you blow. Even burping affects the results!”
“Mine is only really accurate when I'm about an hour away from being sober. Anytime before that it jumps around anywhere from 2-4 hours even after not drinking or eating anything”
“Be careful with this device if you are using it for court, it is not reliable. It will give you false results, all the time. I have had it happen to me multiple times, and it is ruining my opportunity to be with my child. Do not use this device if you are in the court system, it will only put you in a bad spot, which it is currently doing to me. It is so sensitive to what ever is on the air, not kidding. I have not had any alcohol in my system for two months now, yet sometimes when I blow, it registers a .01, or a .09, which is not accurate, and I blew multiples times immediately to finally get an accurate result of 0.0.”
“The thing works fine. I do not like how you HAVE to have your phone for this to work. I thought I was buying a stand alone device that would connect to your phone. I think it's kind of stupid that it makes you guess you BAC, but I guess that is for conditioning for when you phone isn't working and you need to know your BAC.”
“this is for sure better than the last 2 that I had. The only thing I have noticed is that it doesn't always connect to my smart phone right away for some reason. but when it does, it works fine.”
