“I love the size, utility, and (specified) accuracy. It's my only breathalyzer so it's hard to give a definitive "accuracy" but based on my understanding it seems in line with my expectations. It helps me calibrate my understanding of how drunk I can get after a night out and make smarter decisions given the context that I find myself in.
Just be sure to follow the directions of "don't blow before 20 minutes after your last drink." Just for fun I blew right after a shot of fireball and got it up to 0.4!”

“I purchased it off of amazon....because of this bactrack will not refund my money. FIrst device worked momentarily, then error msg. Returned it for service; they sent it back saying it worked. NOT. Sent it back and then said it was defective. Sent a new one to me; say error msg and now it's back in SF being "looked" at. Ridiculous. And to boot, no one answers the phone.”
“I have used a BACtrack for many years, just to double check my BAC before activities, including driving. I was able to reduce my BAC by .03 (from a .146 to a .113) by drinking cold water immediately before taking the test. So, if you're testing yourself or someone else make sure they haven't got a cold mouth! If the test is taken correctly it is very accurate.”
