“I love the size, utility, and (specified) accuracy. It's my only breathalyzer so it's hard to give a definitive "accuracy" but based on my understanding it seems in line with my expectations. It helps me calibrate my understanding of how drunk I can get after a night out and make smarter decisions given the context that I find myself in.
Just be sure to follow the directions of "don't blow before 20 minutes after your last drink." Just for fun I blew right after a shot of fireball and got it up to 0.4!”
“Has worked perfectly so far, exactly as advertised, had it for a couple of months.
I chose this model over others for its smaller size while still having specified accuracy, plus memory was a bonus.
I bought 2 of them, keeping one for infrequent use. Then we can compare periodically to know when the heavily used one needs re-calibration (or not).”
“I purchased it off of amazon....because of this bactrack will not refund my money. FIrst device worked momentarily, then error msg. Returned it for service; they sent it back saying it worked. NOT. Sent it back and then said it was defective. Sent a new one to me; say error msg and now it's back in SF being "looked" at. Ridiculous. And to boot, no one answers the phone.”
“I have used a BACtrack for many years, just to double check my BAC before activities, including driving. I am nervous about driving with even a very low level BAC, so I try and wait until I am at zero. Recently, a few friends stopped by my place and they - and I - were at a Celebration of Life event before coming by. Then at my place the champaign was poured. I asked my friend who was driving how he was - he said he was fine. I told him I did not think so and got out my two current BACtracks. He was far from okay. So, one of the other four others, who did register as okay, drove them home. As my first friend's birthday was soon, I ordered him a BACtrack Trace as a gift.”
