“Instructions state you can insert mouthpiece "a few centimeters". It actually can only go in a few milimeters. Also, the unit doesn't fit in the case with the mouthpiece inserted; it's not clear whether the unit is designed for constant removal/insertion of the mouthpiece.”
“I've had the Trace for about a month now, and overall it's a nice looking and easy to use device, but I'm not real sure of it's accuracy.
I have nothing to test it against, but the few times I've used it out of curiosity it had said I'm under the legal limit of .08. I don't feel I was anywhere within safe limits to get behind the wheel with it reading only .05 and . 072. For the price, I'm a little disappointed because I feel I'm still left to my own judgement since I don't know if I trust this device.”
“If you think you have had too much to drink you don't want to mess with too many buttons. One button, blow and you get your reading. Readings are accurate so you can decide if she is really the hottest thing you have ever seen or just the hottest thing you see right now. It won't stop all your bad decisions but might help you recognize before you make the next one.”
