“overall this product is great... it turns on and gives an accurate reading everytime ,, even when all of my fiends or family are drinking.. I trust the readings bc I over all the times i've used it it comes back right on the mark and never a high reading or low for the amount of alcohol ive consumed. I was weary on the purchase but I did my research and the gas type tester this provided was the most accurate... it was a great buy for someone who wants to know what they have consumed and or if they are boarderline to drive or you are out with friends camping and want to see what everyone has drank at the end of the night. its pretty interesting to see what your friends and familys BACs are at at the end of the night... “I keep the BacTrack in my center console so I can test if my wife and I have been out dining and indulged in a cocktail and wine. Have only used once and I felt confident that the results were accurate. I also require friends to use before they leave my house from any dinner party where I believe they may be "over the limit". The biggest problem is getting them to blow into the mouthpiece properly but that's probably because I'm not wearing a "badge".”
“It cost a little more than I wanted to pay, bu then again, if it saves you or a friend or a family member from an accident or even a ticket just once, then it pays for itself. I think it is a very good investment and more people should be carrying these around. The readings are quite consistent. Usually blowing twice in a row will result in values within +-0.001. I have plotted by BAC dropping as a function of time for different initial levels. It's very interesting to see how quickly my body processes alcohol (and informative, as it enables me to predict my BAC more accurately). Mostly, I just use this device for fun, but at the end of the night it serves the dual purpose as a safety device as well.”
“Like how it works and just hope it is accurate. Hate to have it tested by a cop!! It is nice to know how fast you drop points. Weight seems to be a real factor. Thin people seem to get higher ratings (sometimes double) with the exact same amount of drinking and eating. You do need to wait for the 10 to 15 minutes to be accurate. We tried the mouthwash test. After first blowing a 0 , gargled and then for about 5 minutes it blew 2.5. Amazing.”
