“I installed a brand new battery, inserted the mouth piece. pressed the start button and the reading was 0.00, that was just fine, I was happy at that moment, I then drank couple of beers and a shot of Tequila, tried again and got the same results 0.00 reading... Then I had more tequila and more beer but at this time I waited the 20 minutes stated on the instructions.... Guess what??? Same results... reading was 0.00. By now I'm drunk just for testing this stupid machine and I keep getting the same reading.

“A good breathalyzer is hard to find. I had very strict standards for mine. I wanted a fuel cell (cops, doctors, etc use these). I expected a high price but didn't want it to be like a down payment on a car. The BACTRAC Pro S80 has outperformed in both aspects. Really helps you understand your absorbtion and metabolic rate for alcohol. Though like any breathalyzer: If you feel slightly off don't drive. Even if you blow under you can still get a DUI for it. Don't put people's lives at risk. The S80 Select/Pro is accurate to a fault. The fault is your own. Use it, heed it, if you decide to drive, then don't say it didn't warn you.”
