“I have this unit. In fact, just sent in for calibration and just got an email that it's on its way back to me. What I wonder is if my BacTrack says .04, for example, would what the police have say the same? I stay scared about how close they are. That said I like it because it's kept me right here in this house when it reports .05 (legal .06 here) but I'm still really, really worry how the readings would compare Better yet, 0 is 0, no matter who is looking at it...working on that in 2020 for the sake of everything. But I love the BacTrack.”
“Purchased end of November 2019, plenty of time for it to arrive in time for Christmas, took them 2 weeks to send it, the only tracking date is 13 December 2019 and then nothing. I emailed them constantly telling them it was a Christmas present and the tracking had stopped dead but their customer service was of no help. Its now 2nd January 2020 and I still don't have the device I ordered for a Christmas present in November 2019. As a company they don't care about their customers. Only thing I am happy about is they emailed me to write a review on a product I never received.

“I have purchased about 7 of the S80s over the last decade or so. I wanted an analyzer that was as good as the ones the police use. My driver's license is worth it. As an engineer, I felt compelled to do a "design of experiments" and validate the accuracy by comparing two S80s. The S80 is very accurate. I would give it 5 stars except that after about 2 years they read low. There is no indication that the reading is low. Everything looks normal. The manufacture recommends recalibration after 1 year. While this works initially, it doesn't last, and again, there is no indication.”
