“I have read the instructions cover to cover several times and am still having difficulty getting consistent results. If I can't believe the readings are accurate/dependable/repeatable it renders the unit unusable to me. It has been this way from day one and I have given up using the unit.”
“First one just plain wore out; failed calibration after about 3 years. Not unexpected to eventually have that happen; the sensor is an electrochemical cell and eventually runs out of electrolyte.
This thing is a must if you EVER consume alcohol away from home. Not just for you (although that's certainly a good enough reason) but ALSO for your friends who may be consuming adult beverages as well If it keeps you or someone you like (say much less love) from operating when impaired it's paid for itself dozens of times over, never mind the risk of something really horrible happening that money can't fix.”
“No idea where to get it calibrated but have had now over 350 blows into it to make sure I'm fine to drive. May just purchase another after all the service this one has given me.”
