“I purchased the S80 about a month ago and I thus far have found it to be extremely accurate and full fills my needs 100%. If you are one of us unfortunates who has an interlock on your vehicle, this is a must to have as you have no idea what you put in your mouth that will lock you out of your vehicle. I have no issue with the recalibration requirement which simply tells me this piece of equipment will always maintain its accuracy if calibrated on a regular basis. I really would not trust one that was not. If an interlock has to be recalibrated monthly why wouldn't an over the counter breathlizer?”
“I have an interlock in my car and its very important that I know I am 0.00 before I attempt to drive. The Element Pro said I was a 0.00 and I got a fail in my interlock that said I was a .03. The Element Pro was only 1 month old so it was not yet time to be recalibrated. The S80 is much more accurate but I'm still mad I had to buy a second one. That's over $213.99 in 2 months on breahalyzers and now I have to go to court for a failed BAC in my interlock. Buy the S80 dont risk the cheaper model.”
