“I bought this device four years ago and just recently had to replace it because I never sent it in to be calibrated and the sensors wore out. I bought it after a DWI incident because I knew I had not enough to drink to be impaired/arrested/convicted. What I learned is that, especially in NY it doesn't matter, if you blow 0.04% you are DUI and 0.08% for DWI and guess what? It takes very little alcohol to get you there. If you have the privilege to drive you have the responsibility to keep yourself and others safe on the road and this device allows you to do that. I have pulled it out at restaurants or parties to spark the interest of someone I KNOW should not be driving and kept them from doing so. Everyone should have one. $150 is alot cheaper than $13,000 for a DWI. GET ONE!!!”

The unit I have is the S80 Pro. When I first bought it I sat down with a BAC chart and put it to the test (purely scientific reasons of course!). I made sure to wait at least 20 minutes before taking samples and this thing was right on the money. After that I always carried it in my car when I went out. Not only was it a great tool for me, but I've asked many tipsy friends to blow in it before driving home and probably saved them DUIs or worse. I will always have one of these going forward..”
“I've had my S80 for a few and knew it needed a calibration. So - a few years on, bit the bullet and paid the money. Seems that my unit didn't meet spec so it needed replacement. I only discovered this when an entire new unit arrived. Impressive service. These guys obviously care about the product and, I suspect, the customer.”
“We have an S78 and S80 Pro that we keep in our cars at all times. I can't imagine why anyone would not have one when the cost is nothing compared to the cost of a DWI or worse, injuring someone.
We recently sent them back for recalibration. They were unable to recalibrate and Bactrac sent us new ones and only charges for the cost of one calibration.
